Description

The DIR-1260 router is designed to organize high-speed wired / wireless home networks, secure remote work with corporate resources of organizations, recommended for use in the networks of federal and regional providers providing high-speed Internet access, IP telephony, IPTV and OTT services in HD and Ultra HD quality.

USB port

The router is equipped with a USB port for connecting a USB modem, with which you can quickly connect to the Internet. In addition, you can connect a USB drive to the router's USB port, which will be used as a network drive, or a printer.

For effective use of the multifunctional USB port, the ability to work with several USB devices simultaneously is implemented. For example, you can access multimedia content from a connected HDD drive and at the same time share a USB printer1.

Wireless interface

Using the DIR-1260 wireless router, you can quickly organize a high-speed wireless network at home and in the office, providing access to the Internet to computers and mobile devices almost anywhere (within the wireless network coverage area). Simultaneous operation in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz ranges allows you to use the wireless network for a wide range of tasks. The router can function as a base station for connecting devices operating according to the 802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11n and 802.11ac standards (with a wireless connection speed of up to 1167 Mbps)2 to a wireless network.

Secure wireless connection

The router has many functions for the wireless interface. The device supports several security standards (WEP, WPA/WPA2/WPA3), filtering of connected devices by MAC address, and also allows the use of WPS and WMM technologies.

In addition, the device is equipped with a button for turning the Wi-Fi network on/off. If necessary, for example, when leaving home, you can turn off the router's wireless network with one click of a button, while the devices connected to the router's LAN ports will remain on the network.
