The router is equipped with a built-in LTE modem, which provides high-speed mobile 3G/4G connection with data reception speed up to 150 Mbps and data transmission speed up to 50 Mbps1.

LAN/WAN conversion, backup WAN connection

You can use any Ethernet port of the router as a LAN or WAN port. The new generation of software supports the ability to assign multiple WAN ports, for example, to set up the main and backup WAN connections from different providers. In addition, it is possible to reserve Internet access using the built-in LTE modem.

Wireless interface

Using the DWM-312W wireless router, you can quickly set up a wireless network, providing access to the Internet to computers and mobile devices at almost any point (within the wireless network coverage area). The router can act as a base station for connecting devices operating according to 802.11b, 802.11g and 802.11n standards (at speeds up to 150 Mbps) to a wireless network.

Secure wireless connection

The router has many functions for the wireless interface. The device supports several security standards (WEP, WPA/WPA2), filtering of connected devices by MAC address, and also allows you to use WPS and WMM technologies.

Advanced wireless network capabilities

The ability to configure a guest Wi-Fi network allows you to create a separate wireless network with individual security settings. Guest network devices will be able to connect to the Internet, but will be isolated from the devices and resources of the router's local network.

Security

The DWM-312W router is equipped with a built-in firewall. Advanced security features minimize the impact of hackers' actions and prevent intrusions into your network and access to unwanted sites for users of your local network.

Support for the SSH protocol increases security when remotely configuring and managing the router by encrypting all transmitted traffic, including passwords.

In addition, the router supports the IPsec protocol and allows you to organize secure VPN tunnels. Support for the IKEv2 protocol allows for a simplified messaging scheme and the use of an asymmetric authentication mechanism when setting up an IPsec tunnel.

The router also supports the SkyDNS content filtering service, which offers more settings and options for organizing secure work on the Internet for both home users of all ages and for professional activities of office and enterprise employees.

The device also has a scheduling function for applying firewall rules and settings, rebooting the router at a specified time or at specified intervals, as well as turning on/off the wireless network and Wi-Fi filter.

Simple setup and update

A simple and convenient built-in web interface (available in several languages) is used to configure the DWM-312W router.

The DWM-312W also supports setup and management using a mobile application for devices running Android OS.

You can easily update the firmware - the router itself finds a verified version of the software on the D-Link update server and notifies the user when it is ready to install it.

Using an external Wi-Fi antenna

To connect an external Wi-Fi antenna (except ANT70-1400N), you need the ANT24-CB01N adapter cable. To increase the distance between the wireless device and the external Wi-Fi antenna, it is recommended to additionally use the ANT24-CB03N / ANT24-CB06N / ANT24-CB09N ​​cable extenders.

When installing a Wi-Fi antenna outdoors, it is recommended to use the ANT-SP lightning protection module.
